Blenderbox was contracted by a Northeastern U.S. Government Agency to update and improve their seven-year-old website. The goal was to enhance the user experience (UX) for both internal and external users and align with current technological trends. Blenderbox began the project by liaising with stakeholders to establish internal requirements before conducting focus groups to gauge user interaction with the site. Following an analysis of existing web components and mobile platforms, they determined that a shift to a mobile-first approach was necessary. They then redeveloped the website, streamlining the previous desktop-centric, image-heavy model and securing integrations with backend systems. The project, which began in September 2015, is ongoing with Blenderbox continuing to provide routine maintenance. The client praised Blenderbox's communication, with both formal and informal channels available, including direct contact with the company’s president for any issues.
