Blank Space was hired by an investment research and education company to develop iOS and Android applications. The company's CEO worked closely with three team members from Blank Space, including their CEO, a Senior Technical Architect, and the design head. The project, which started in November 2022, involved creating a blueprint of the app, building a prototype, and then developing the app based on the blueprint. The app provides global data for companies, allows users to build a watch list, and offers an investment center covering various topics. The project is ongoing, with the app about to launch and Blank Space providing post-launch maintenance and tech support.
The education company engaged Blank Space to improve their site search experience, ready their site for changing hosts, update all backend software and services, and increase site speed. The project involved analyzing the site, upgrading all core software, addressing site performance issues, and moving the site to a new host. Blank Space also developed a GitHub repository for the project, understood how Advanced Custom Fields were deployed throughout the site, and added a site search plugin. The project is in its first phase, with plans to tackle UI/UX issues and mobile-first development next.
Graydon's Cheese Cellar, a specialty cheese, charcuterie, and wine boutique, hired Blank Space to develop a mobile app. The project aimed to allow the boutique to compete with other online ordering platforms and provide a custom online shopping experience. The app, which includes a custom, multi-tier loyalty program and mobile ordering capabilities, was designed, implemented, tested, and deployed to the App Store and Play Store. The mobile application is directly integrated with MarketPlate for order management and CMS, as well as Clover integration to facilitate order synchronization. The project also included developing an online ordering capability integrated with the app, MarketPlate software, and Clover. The third phase of the project involves scaling this custom app/web ordering experience to other independent retailers in the food space.
