BeFund successfully completed a project for a Canadian real estate company, which sought to implement automated smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain as a cost-effective and reliable alternative to traditional transactions. The project composed of a decentralized application for managing these smart contracts, created using Solidity, with the contracts linked to specific properties for either short or long-term leases. The contracts were designed to be automatically executed at set intervals and to independently update information on the market value of the real estate through a network of decentralized oracles, a task that proved to be quite complex. Throughout the project, the company owner worked directly with BeFund's project manager, alongside a team consisting of a designer, a front-end developer, and up to three Solidity developers.
