BaruzoTech Private Limited was hired by a small construction/carpentry company to develop an employee scheduling application. Initially, the company sought BaruzoTech's assistance to automate an excel sheet, but as the company rapidly outgrew this solution, they sought a more advanced approach. BaruzoTech, who had previously assisted with the company's Google Sheets issues, was selected due to their familiarity with the company's needs. They developed a user interface in Google Sheets that extracted key information, found corresponding PDFs, collected, named, and stored pictures in the drive, and entered worked hours into an employee-specific Google Sheet. The development process included a brainstorming session, setting up a Google sheet to track needs and wants, agreeing on key factors, and developing the app in phases. Each phase was tested on a server and field-tested for user feedback. The company communicated directly with Kevin, one of the founders of BaruzoTech.
