Barracuda

Barracuda was engaged by a law firm specializing in intellectual property to address the challenge of managing a large volume of emails. The firm sought Barracuda's expertise in email spam filtering to sort through thousands of emails received daily by its attorneys and support staff. Barracuda implemented a solution whereby undesirable emails, as per a rating system they devised, were moved to a quarantine folder. The attorneys received twice-daily emails listing quarantined items, which they could choose to read or delete. Barracuda's system also blocked emails from sites identified as phishing or suspicious. Additionally, Barracuda provided a VPN service to enable remote access to the firm's network. The law firm has been working with Barracuda since before 2013 and continues to invest in their services, having spent over $100,000 to date.
