Highlights from Recent Projects
B60 partnered with a top bank in the UK to develop a video conferencing platform, allowing the bank to sell to their clients remotely. B60 added a video conferencing element to an existing piece of software used for sending and receiving documentation, and developed secondary software to satisfy regulatory and security requirements. The solution is currently being deployed to the bank's retail network, allowing them to remotely assist less-advantaged customers. The project cost was around $350,000 and there is ongoing development to add video conferencing units to branches.
In collaboration with a company offering mileage and expense reimbursement services, B60 rebuilt their cross-platform application on Apple and Android. The company had been struggling to tap into the native components of each operating system, and B60 was able to understand the problem and deliver an app to suit what was required without predefined blueprints and business processes. The project cost approximately $33,000 and there is ongoing development to continually improve the app and add functions based on customer requests.
B60 worked with an archaeology and heritage practice in the UK to create a recording mechanism for people who find objects of archaeological or historical nature. The app was developed for iOS and Android, and B60 led most of the development, designing everything and launching it in the app stores. The app was paid for by the client directly, and while the exact cost is not known, the project began in February 2016 and is still ongoing, with B60 still tweaking the app to make it work as it should.
