Aware Web Solutions was engaged by NatureWorks, a bioplastics manufacturer, for a complete redesign of their corporate website. The project was initiated due to functionality issues with the old website and the need for more control over content and processes. The project, which cost between $40,000 and $50,000, involved a complete overhaul of the website's content, design and backend development. Aware also helped develop custom tools for the client. The new website, which was launched at the end of 2006, provided the flexibility of having multiple users in different languages and the ability to grant varying degrees of access based on pre-selected categories and roles. In another project, Aware Web Solutions was contracted by a nonprofit healthcare organization in the Twin Cities to rebuild their external website.
