AUP IT successfully completed a complex cybersecurity and managed IT service project for MSA Safety Company - a producer of safety products. Key objectives achieved included operational continuity, field accessibility, cybersecurity and data integrity for compliance, and providing managed IT services. AUP IT was selected for the project due to outstanding ratings, affordable pricing, and a suitable company culture. The team used modern security frameworks such as ASD Essential Eight/NIST for ensuring policy compliance and conducted the initial and annual risk assessments for aligning business infrastructure.

The scope of work spanned across many areas including cybersecurity strategy, endpoint protection, cloud security, and dark web monitoring. AUP IT delivered constant network monitoring, backup and disaster recovery services, helped eliminate vulnerabilities via automated deployment of crucial OS, and software updates among other deliverables. To counteract potential threats, AUP IT also administered Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) in all physical and virtual workstations and servers, while also ensuring immediate containment of infected endpoints from the broader network.

The results of the engagement left MSA Safety Company extremely satisfied. The continuous scanning for compromised corporate email domains and credentials along with real-time alerting and remediation upon finding breached credentials ensured absolute security. Additionally, optional extended monitoring for personal accounts of key executives brought an additional layer of security.
