Atwix

Atwix was contracted by Comdiel, a telecom company, to complete a Magento migration. The project involved the development of three websites and the execution of a Magento 2 migration for the second site. The launch date was scheduled for June 2019. Atwix also provided marketing solutions. The project was managed by two project managers and a team working behind the scenes. The partnership initiated in 2010 and is ongoing.

Final Draft, a screenwriting application company, hired Atwix to help move their existing e-commerce site to a different platform or upgrade it to Magento 2. The project was extensive, requiring Atwix to build a brand new website from scratch due to the differences between Magento 1 and Magento 2. Atwix had to examine Final Draft's codes and customizations before duplicating everything onto the new platform. The project, which ran from January to August 2020, cost between $100,000-$150,000. The relationship has since expanded, with Atwix now assisting with other in-house applications.

Atwix was hired by a large distributor of restaurant equipment and supplies to solve several critical function issues and help assess and correct accrued technical debt after an outage. The project involved spinning up a new instance of the company's website on Magento. Atwix was selected due to their large number of credentialed Magento employees, many of whom have contributed to Magento source code. The project felt like a partnership from the start, with a high level of comfort and technical knowledge established. The primary project manager was Ivan, and the primary developer was Volodomyr, with many others involved in onboarding and behind-the-scenes work.
