Highlights from Recent Projects
Atwix partnered with Final Draft, a screenwriting application company, to migrate their e-commerce site to Magento 2. The project involved a complete rebuild of the website due to differences between Magento 1 and Magento 2. Atwix, having a profound understanding of Magento, conducted extensive code research, interviewed the in-house Magento expert, and assessed the existing software systems and integrations. A dedicated team of six from Atwix, including front- and backend developers, project manager, and QA resources, carried out the project from January to August 2020. The company invested between $100,000–$150,000 in the project. The partnership has expanded, with Atwix now assisting with other in-house applications.
For a large distributor of restaurant equipment and supplies, Atwix resolved several critical function issues and helped assess and correct accrued technical debt. This was following an outage that required a quick spin up of a new website instance on Magento. Atwix was selected for the project due to their large number of credentialed Magento employees and their evident partnership approach. Key deliverables included the implementation of Internal Search and Buy Now Pay Later features. The team from Atwix included a VP of Business Development, a primary project manager, and a primary developer, among others.
Atwix has been working with Comdiel, a telecom company, since 2010. The company engaged Atwix to execute a Magento migration and develop three websites. The second site’s Magento 2 migration is ongoing, with a launch date set for June 2019. Atwix’s team for this project includes two project managers and additional support staff. In addition to the website development and Magento migration, Atwix also provides marketing solutions. The company has invested $100,000 in the partnership.
