Asteroid IT

Asteroid IT completed a project for A to Z mobile RV, a recreational vehicle repair and maintenance company. The company's manager assigned Asteroid IT to integrate their email with Facebook and other social media platforms. A single employee from Asteroid IT was assigned to the project, which was successfully completed. The client chose Asteroid IT due to its proximity, affordable pricing, and a referral. The integrated email program for social media and advertising was set up as per the client's requirements.

The metal manufacturing company hired Asteroid IT for web development and managed IT services. The IT director of the company required support with high-end networking, webpage design and updates, network troubleshooting, and different software support. Asteroid IT, led by its owner Jason, built external and internal websites using Ubuntu, set up the company's virtual local area networks (VLAN), programmed switches, performed security work within their network, and fortified firewalls. They also installed hardware and software and offered remote and on-site services, helping to resolve an issue with the ISP trying to double-bill the company for both networks. The engagement started in September 2018 and is ongoing.

Asteroid IT was hired by a political organization to set up their IT needs, including corporate emails and the initial structure of their website. The organization, with over 500 volunteers, needed a professional communication server separate from their personal emails. Asteroid IT successfully set up the corporate emails and the Microsoft Teams account for training volunteers. The team, led by the owner, Jason, worked from January to June 2022, and while the main project has concluded, Asteroid IT continues to offer IT assistance as needed. The project cost was close to $8,000.
