Asteroid IT

Asteroid IT successfully completed a project for a political organization where they set up the organization's IT needs and corporate emails. They also assisted in defining a website domain name and setting up a Microsoft Teams account for training volunteers. The team conducted virtual walk-throughs to set up new volunteers' emails and accounts. The client appreciated Asteroid IT's assistance and continues to rely on them for IT support. The total cost of the project was close to $8,000 and the engagement lasted from January–June 2022.

In another project, Asteroid IT worked with A to Z Mobile RV, a recreational vehicle repair and maintenance company. The goal was to set up an integrated email program for the company's social media and advertising needs. Asteroid IT was chosen for this project due to their proximity to the client's location, budget-friendly pricing, and strong referral. The project was successfully completed by one employee from Asteroid IT.

Asteroid IT also worked with a metal manufacturing company, providing various IT services for over six years. They built external and internal websites using Ubuntu, helped set up the company's virtual local area networks (VLAN), and programmed switches. They also performed security work within the company's network and fortified firewalls. The team provided both remote and on-site services, supporting telephone communications and helping resolve issues with the company's ISP. The client continues to work with Asteroid IT, requesting between 10–20 hours of their services a month at a rate of $140 per hour.
