ASquared

ASquared, also known as Automation Squared Ltd., worked with Emteq, a startup specializing in wearable technology, to develop software applications. Emteq required assistance in building software apps due to their primary focus on hardware development and new technology creation. ASquared undertook two projects for Emteq, both utilizing the same core architecture. The first project involved creating a web-based healthcare application for medical clinicians to receive patient information and videos. The software also included an AI component to interpret emotions from facial expressions in the videos. The second project was a unique data visualization app, which combined elements from the first project with data visualization tools to present meaningful content and graphs. The app analyzed and summarized data into easily readable graphs, tracking user's facial expressions during video watching. The projects lasted from March to December 2018 and cost approximately $27,000.

ASquared was also engaged by Stage Scripts Ltd, a theatrical publisher and licensing agent, to develop a cloud-based system to replace their outdated Access database. The company required a more organized system to improve customer interaction and minimize time offline. ASquared uploaded between 50,000 to 100,000 records from the existing database into a new cloud version developed in PHP with a Laravel frontend. They also corrected incorrectly linked tables and replicated the quarterly payment process in the new system. The engagement with Stage Scripts Ltd began in April 2018 and is ongoing.
