Highlights from Recent Projects
Ascendle partnered with Creative Information Systems (CIS) to develop a web-based version of their desktop product for the heavy-capacity truck scale industry. Ascendle utilized the desktop product as a foundation, creating an online version that included a minimum requirement list of functions and features. The web frontend was designed to be compatible with all major browsers and work well on tablets. The team also integrated the QuickBooks Online API to convert invoices or SMS Turbo tickets. The ongoing partnership with Ascendle has been in place since September 2016.
For Treeno Software, Ascendle provided web development services to help the document management and workflow process solutions provider catch up with delayed delivery schedules. Ascendle evaluated Treeno's documentation and processes, identified areas for improvement, and optimized performance to reduce development and quality assurance costs. They also reviewed Treeno's coding for efficiency and evaluated their cloud solution providers. The partnership began in April 2016 and several projects were completed by early September.
Ascendle worked with Muto Surgical to develop a responsive web application for their app, UberDoc, which provides patients direct access to surgeons. Ascendle's approach allowed for more flexibility than building native apps for specific platforms, with plans to build downloadable apps in the future. The project cost ranged between $260,000 and $350,000, including HIPAA compliance work, and was completed under budget and ahead of schedule. Ascendle's team members also invested in Muto Surgical, helping offset initial costs. The engagement began in April 2016.
