The Small Agribusiness Academy (SA Academy) hired Arusha Website Design to develop an Android mobile application for data collection. The SA Academy, consisting of small to medium scale entrepreneurs from five African countries, aimed to leverage technology to streamline their operations, particularly data collection, evaluation, and monitoring. The goal of the project was to create an application that could collect and validate data from various sites and send it to a centralized database. The application was designed to work on any Android device using either a 3G transmission network or Wi-Fi connectivity.

Arusha Website Design was selected for the project after the SA Academy conducted a search for software and mobile app developers in their area. The team at Arusha was tasked with designing the interface and icons for the mobile application, ensuring a well-organized user interface with color separation and conceptual integrity. They were also responsible for maintaining design consistency between the mobile and web application. The project coordinator from SA Academy evaluated the work designed by Arusha, who submitted the images and icons in all formats required.

The project was a success, with Arusha Website Design delivering a user-friendly and efficient Android mobile application for data collection. The application has greatly improved the SA Academy's data collection, evaluation, and monitoring processes, enabling them to assemble information in a centralized place quickly and efficiently. The design of the application was well-received, with the project coordinator praising its organized user interface, color separation, and conceptual integrity. The successful completion of the project has strengthened the SA Academy's role in the food and agribusiness sector.
