Army of Bees

Army of Bees engaged with Jumbo, a virtual events platform service, to create a more highly-tailored virtual event experience in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As Jumbo's primary development team, Army of Bees customized existing WordPress environment coding to suit specific client projects. The partnership, which began in April 2020, is ongoing, with an investment of $20,000 per month. The team at Jumbo appreciates Army of Bees' contribution to the project, which extends beyond contracting to co-creating the technology.

In a project for Shiplify LLC, an IT services and consulting company, Army of Bees was tasked with redesigning the UI/UX of a proprietary software used to verify customer data. After initial discussions and requirement gathering, Army of Bees developed wireframes and a UI prototype, using Figma. The engagement, which started in January 2018, is ongoing with an investment of around $50,000-$100,000.

Army of Bees collaborated with the New Georgia Encyclopedia, an open-access publication, to redesign their Drupal website that was facing deprecation. The team built a new website from scratch on WordPress, migrated content, conducted an SEO audit, and made design improvements based on user interview data. The project, which ran from August 2020 to October 2021, cost $78,125. Army of Bees has been retained for ongoing website maintenance.
