Arkano

Arkano was hired by GlobalNow Inc., a computer networking company, to develop a solution that measures real-time engagement levels of groups during video conferences. The project's initial goal was to develop a minimum viable product (MVP) that functions at the backend level of the machine learning model with TensorFlow. Arkano successfully developed an MVP that analyzes participants’ micro facial expressions during video conferences, determining feelings such as happiness, anger, and fear. The solution was then transformed into a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, allowing clients to subscribe to the API, send video frames from their own systems, and receive the results of each analysis. The solution also integrated other Azure services like API Management for subscription management, PayPal for collection, and Dynamics for CRM.

In another project, Arkano worked with a mobile and web development company on multiple development projects, including front-end development of web apps. Using Angular for the front-end, Microsoft Bot Framework and .NET for the chat box, and Power BI for analytics, Arkano provided a full-time team member to the company. The engagement began in September 2017 and has seen the company invest between $40,000 and $50,000 in Arkano’s services.

Lastly, Arkano was hired by a branding agency to update .net libraries in a custom CMS for a large EMEA based financial institution and make functional updates to the same custom CMS as needed. Arkano modernized the build and deployment system, cleaned up environments, updated underlying frameworks and other dependencies, and identified functionality that needed to be updated, changed, or replaced. The project was successful and saw 2-5 employees from Arkano working on it.
