Ark Kaufman

Ark Kaufman was hired by a software development company to design a 'music arcade' mode for their mobile music app, 12 Pads. For the social media app Tellascape, Ark Kaufman was brought on board to provide expert UI/UX design and manage other designers. The company, which had received over a million in funding and had patented geofence technology, found Ark Kaufman through Upwork. Ark worked with the developers and the organization to complete all design-related tasks for the app, which was nearing launch. The team included 12 people, including a CTO, CFO, CMO, Backend Architect, Backend Developer, Front-end Developer, Business Manager, Assistant, and 3 designers.

Shipshape.vc, a search engine for startup investment, hired Ark Kaufman to create their visual brand identity, conduct UX/UI research, and create all visual assets. Ark was selected for his great culture fit and excellent understanding of UX/UI work. He was the only employee from his team assigned to this project. The startup had moved from their first online app build to their fourth generation app, and Ark had been with them throughout, leading and executing all design work. His expertise helped to elevate the business.
