Aptera Software, Inc.

Aptera Software, Inc. was hired by a canned tomato products manufacturer for the redesign of their two retail brand websites. The digital brand specialist from the company was seeking a partner who could create a site that required minimal customization and allowed the company to maintain the site content independently. Aptera was selected through an RFP process and was chosen based on cost, experience, and location. They provided web design and development services and had a team of developers and a project manager to ensure the project was completed on time and within budget. The company has since used Aptera for the development of a new site for their Redpack brand, the Corporate site, and for ongoing improvement projects on the redesigned sites.

Aptera Software, Inc. was engaged by Messenger LLC, a supplier to the funeral industry, for the development of a web application that enables funeral directors to customize stationary products. Aptera developed the standalone web application from scratch, which combines a photo editor, page layout program, and database. The project, which began in 2010 and had its first version released in 2012, underwent a complete overhaul four years later, transitioning from Silverlight to HTML5 for version 2.0. The team size varied depending on the project phase, with a couple of developers and user acceptance criteria experts usually involved. The second version of the project cost close to $150,000 and the most recent iteration was completed in September 2017.
