Appuchino

Appuchino was hired by Axonista, a video technology platform, to augment their in-house development team. A software company for law enforcement hired Appuchino to improve their existing iOS app while they focused on developing a desktop client. Appuchino stood out among other vendors due to their ability to identify flaws in the existing app. The project involved an initial dialogue via Upwork, followed by a review of the source code and a discussion of the requirements. Key technologies incorporated by Appuchino included Firebase realtime database for user location tracking, bug fixes in Swift, a revamped visual design, and an image uploading feature. The software company communicated directly with Alexey and his team via Slack, which included at least two software engineers, a designer, and a quality assurance tester.

Higgins & Higgins Music, an educational book supplier, engaged Appuchino to create an app that would replace their CD supply to schools. The project involved developing an app for student use and a web-based platform for classroom projection, intertwined on the backend. The scope expanded to include e-books in addition to audio content. The platform is accessible on phones, tablets, and desktop computers, and additional features are being added after its first academic year of operation. The engagement, which started in April 2022 and is ongoing, involved two individuals from Appuchino and an investment of approximately $37,000.
