The ERP Solutions Company, directed by a digital transformation and automation specialist, hired APPSOFT to integrate Microsoft Outlook with their cloud-based ERP system. The goal was to create a solution that could file important emails and attachments into the ERP system directly from Outlook. APPSOFT used Visual Basic to construct an executable file that functioned as an Outlook plugin based on the design and interface specifications provided by the ERP Solutions Company. A three-tier cycle of feedback and improvements led to the development of the final product. The collaboration started in the summer of 2018 and is still ongoing, with APPSOFT recently handling an upgrade. Over the years, the ERP Solutions Company invested about $6,000-$7,000 in this project.
