Appsoft was hired by a cloud-based ERP solutions company to integrate Microsoft Outlook with their ERP system. This was to allow businesses to easily file important emails with attachments into the ERP system. Appsoft was provided with the login information to the cloud system and used Visual Basic to build an executable file that functioned as an Outlook plugin. The first version of the solution was not perfect, but with feedback and suggested improvements, Appsoft improved the solution in the second version. After testing with clients and incorporating their feedback, the final product was delivered. The ERP solutions company has invested around $6,000-$7,000 in this project since the summer of 2018. The engagement is ongoing, with Appsoft handling an upgrade recently.
