Highlights from Recent Projects
Appsmart was hired by Glovo, a food delivery platform operating in 23 countries, to develop a Middleware for seamless integration with their systems and those of restaurant partners. The team at Appsmart, comprising a project manager, a solution architect, and two developers, developed an integration layer to transfer orders in real time between Glovo's backend API and their partners' POS software solutions. They prioritized redundancy, uptime, speed of transfer, data loss prevention, and operation auditing. The project was coded in Java using the Spring framework, with a MySQL database and Redis for streams. The solution was deployed using Amazon ECS in Docker. The team managed to integrate the first partners in record time and provided thorough documentation to aid partners in the integration process.
Global Brother srl, a leading company in direct response marketing, hired Appsmart to design and develop an Order Management System (OMS) to automate and trace the entire process from receiving orders to fulfilling them through logistics partners. The team at Appsmart, consisting of a business analyst and four developers, integrated with both the company's selling channels APIs, Clickbank and Digistore24, to automatically receive orders. They then transferred order details to three logistics partners via their APIs. They also integrated with Active Campaign and Facebook and developed user interfaces for data presentation and search capabilities. The app was developed in Laravel, with Elasticsearch used to index orders and MySQL for the rest of the data. The team successfully piloted an end-to-end flow from receiving an order to the delivery process.
