Appotype

Appotype was hired by an executive medtech startup to develop their software from scratch, which included a mobile app, backend, and webservice. The software connects to the company's BLE ECG device and had to meet medical device standards. A team of a web developer, a backend developer, and a UX designer from Appotype worked on this project. The goal was to create robust software that could receive ECG data from the recorder on the mobile device, using BLE and iOS devices, and send this data to the AWS Cloud.

Appotype was engaged by Braster S.A., a medical devices company, to upgrade their iOS app used by individuals at home and in medical facilities. This project involved a week of testing and was completed in May 2023. The CEO of Braster S.A. was in contact with 2-3 people from Appotype during the project. The company had spent under €5,000 (approximately $5,400 USD) for this project. The company had a previous engagement with Appotype, who developed their Android and iOS apps a few years ago.

Wireless Value, an electronics development company, hired Appotype to create a mobile app for measurement devices. The app was designed to receive data from the measurement devices, perform local calculations to check the results, and synchronize the data with a cloud application. A team of a UX designer, two software developers, a tester, and a project manager from Appotype worked on this project. Appotype was chosen for this project based on a recommendation from another company.
