Appolica

Appolica was hired by Nosso, a fintech company specializing in family investments, to provide backend engineers for their investment platform. The team at Appolica was tasked with the architecture, design, build and testing of the backend platform, which included restful APIs and services built in Kotlin, Java and SpringBoot. Two mid-level developers from Appolica were involved in the project, adding new APIs and features to the platform in support of Nosso's React Native and Web applications, as well as providing administration APIs for internal use. The founders of Nosso selected Appolica due to their prior positive experiences with the senior management.

GoSea Digital, a company providing crew management software for the Maritime Industry, engaged Appolica to rebuild their application. The scope of the project involved rebuilding the entire app in Flutter from scratch. The team from Appolica included a developer, a QA specialist, and a product manager. The decision to hire Appolica was based on their strong portfolio and a personal recommendation from a trusted contact.

Appolica was selected by a social enterprise to create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of a new job board. The project involved the creation of a place-based jobs platform aimed at connecting local communities to support and jobs from purposeful employers. Appolica was chosen for this project due to their high ratings, great culture fit, and aligned company values. The team assigned to this project consisted of 2-5 employees. The social enterprise found Appolica through a referral.
