Highlights from Recent Projects
Appniv was engaged by an educational technology company to develop a cloud-based teaching platform. The project, which started in May 2017 and ended in July 2019, required a scalable architecture that could function on a modular level. The platform, which utilizes Java for the backend and Angular for the frontend, is Azure-based and can be tailored to different schools' requirements. The platform is designed to serve secondary school students through to universities and corporate training programs. Appniv's team size was flexible, ranging from three to eight, with the CEO being the main point of contact. The development budget lay between $250,000–$500,000.
In a separate project, Appniv collaborated with Rimo3 to develop a unique software program. The project, which began in February 2018, involved creating a product from scratch using C#, ASP.net, and MySQL. The development architecture was unique and required customer controls, posing a threat to security. Once complete, the application will function as a medical device working with IoT and will contain both mobile and cloud components. The team consisted of between 2–5 professionals, with the development budget falling between $200,000–$1,000,000. The work is still ongoing.
Finally, Appniv was hired by a digital education company to develop a software solution aimed at delivering interactive content to students while allowing teachers to control the learning process. The project ran from early 2017 to August 2019 and involved the development of a web app and mobile app for iOS and Android. The frontend was developed using Angular and Ionic, while Java and MongoDB were used for the backend. The team comprised of the founder, Ido, and a group of developers, with the project costing about $300,000.
