Appliscale

Appliscale was hired by Novomatic Technologies Poland, a major player in the gaming technology industry, to develop a new promotional product based on complex event processing. The project required communication with numerous management systems, machines, and physical devices. Appliscale was selected due to their experience in complex event processing, professionalism, and flexible approach. The company was involved in every stage of product development, from defining requirements to final implementation. Appliscale's team, mainly consisting of full-stack developers, developed both backend and frontend sides, prepared system tests, carried out extensive performance tests, and monitored the system.

Appliscale was engaged by ExtraHut, a UX design studio, to develop a system designed for a client. The system features included invoicing, legal management tracking, and keeping a calendar and status meetings. The cloud-based software was hosted on AWS, with a React frontend and a Python backend. Appliscale's team of 7-8 members, including a project manager, front- and backend developers, a DevOps specialist, and a tester, worked on the project. They were selected through the Software Development Association Poland (SoDA) after ExtraHut met them at a conference. The engagement, which started in December 2019, is ongoing and has cost between 100,000€–150,000€ (approximately $113,000–$170,000 USD) so far.
