Appliscale

Appliscale was hired by Novomatic Technologies Poland, a partner of NOVOMATIC, one of the biggest international manufacturers and operators of gaming equipment, to develop a new promotional product based on complex event processing. Appliscale was chosen due to their experience in complex event processing and their proximity to the client. The project involved product development from defining requirements through to final implementation. The scope of work included needs analysis, proposing technological solutions, backend and frontend development, system testing, performance tests and system monitoring. The project team consisted of full-stack developers, a project manager and the CEO. The client was very satisfied with the professionalism and flexibility of Appliscale.

ExtraHut, a UX design studio, engaged Appliscale for the development of a system they designed for a client. Appliscale developed the entire application, which included features such as invoicing, legal management tracking, and maintaining a calendar and status meetings. The software was cloud-based and hosted on AWS, with a React frontend and a Python backend. The team consisted of a project manager, front- and backend developers, a DevOps specialist, and a tester. ExtraHut found Appliscale through the Software Development Association Poland (SoDA) and was impressed with their work at a conference. The engagement began in December 2019 and is ongoing, with a total investment so far of approximately $113,000–$170,000 USD.
