Applied Wonder was contracted by the Society for Innovation and Development (SID) to help rebrand their image and create a new web identity. The challenge was to accommodate SID's three verticals: small companies, startup incubation, and mid-sized industries. Applied Wonder was tasked with understanding SID's operational context and building a new logo and brand philosophy. In addition, they created three sub-logos for SID’s different departments, a website and microsites for the verticals, and various branded materials. The website was built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) after initial development was outsourced to another vendor. The project also included the creation of a five-minute video and branded collateral such as mugs and t-shirts. The partnership began in May 2017 and continues to this day, with Applied Wonder working on graphical elements and site improvements seven days per month.
