Appidea was commissioned by a publishing company specializing in cartography for schools to develop a web application. The company had previously created a multimedia desktop application and sought to create a web version. Appidea built the application from scratch using JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery. The web application, which works across all devices, provides students and teachers access to a vast array of maps for geography or history lessons. Users can create personalized maps with exercises assigned to each one, and conduct sophisticated searches and note-taking tasks. The project, which formally started in January 2018, is expected to conclude by the end of 2018 with a new stage planned for the first half of 2019.
In another project, Appidea was hired by a web development company to create a custom e-commerce site for a perfume wholesaler.
