Appes

Appes was hired by Babele, a technology and consulting company, to redesign their platform's front end. The main goal of the project was to create a new, faster, and more lightweight platform that would be easier to modify in the future. After a series of interviews, Babele chose Appes due to their understanding of the platform and business case, coding capabilities, communication skills, budget, and proactivity. The project started with an understanding phase, where Appes analyzed the existing functionalities of the platform and performed a GAP analysis with the wireframes of the new version. The work was split into four milestones, each developed through two-week sprints. At the end of each sprint, Babele could test the work done through a staging environment. The Appes team, composed of two web developers, also made improvements to the back end of the platform service and coordinated with back end developers to optimize all APIs for the new tool.
