Highlights from Recent Projects
AM-BITS completed a pilot project for Sberbank, a large bank in Ukraine, which aimed to improve the bank's multiple systems. The challenge was to set up multiple gateways for extensions, make all the data accessible, and build reports in real-time. AM-BITS employed Hadoop Swift technology, taking data from Teradata-based data warehouse to Hadoop, which facilitated report generation. The project was executed by a team of five engineers and a project manager from AM-BITS. The partnership with AM-BITS was initiated through a tender due to their high-level qualifications and Hadoop-certified engineers. Although no initial investment was made, the bank plans to include a budget of around $500,000 for the project in 2018. The project started in February 2016 and concluded in February 2017.
