Highlights from Recent Projects
AltSource Software collaborated with Staheli West, an agricultural machinery manufacturer, to develop a custom web application known as the dealer portal. The portal was designed to manage dealer-related workflows and communications, including order submissions, product registrations, warranty approvals, and machine updates. The client was particularly impressed with AltSource's ability to prioritize features to achieve a minimum viable product before implementing additional features. The project was completed on time and within budget, with AltSource demonstrating a high level of organization and efficiency.
In another project, AltSource Software worked with RailPros, a field service safety company for the railroad industry, to develop a field worker management solution. The software enabled the client to manage their field service team more effectively, replacing a manual, spreadsheet-based system with a more scalable solution. AltSource was responsible for creating a solution that allowed the client to receive customer requests, dispatch resources to the field, collect data, and send invoices. The client commended AltSource's expertise, approach, design, and pricing.
AltSource Software also partnered with the Department of Family Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) to create a web-based healthcare application. The app was designed to facilitate patient check-ins with primary care doctors, asking a series of questions about substance use. AltSource developed an algorithm to convert patient responses into progress notes for clinicians, and they added an audio button for low-literacy patients. The project, which took about a year and a half to complete, was praised for its accessibility and comprehensive approach.
