Alternova, Inc. collaborated with Determinism to provide ongoing technical support for the PeerKnect platform, a service designed to facilitate social connections between children with special needs. Alternova's responsibilities included computer engineering, coding, and software development for mobile and web applications, primarily focusing on weekly updates and improvements for the platform's iOS and Android apps. The company also worked on UI/UX design updates for the web-based platform. The partnership, which started in June 2021, involved an investment of over $20,000 and is still ongoing.

In collaboration with Sense Relief, Alternova, Inc. worked on the complete redesign of Sense Relief’s software and its integration with Cardinal Kit, an open-sourced software for distributed clinical studies. Alternova was chosen for their strong reputation in working with digital health companies. The project involved at least three programmers and a project manager from Alternova, who worked on bringing Sense Relief’s vision for their second version to life.

Alternova, Inc. partnered with Lean6Health to develop a pilot-ready instance of their application and publish the app to the two main app stores. The company was selected due to their competitive pricing and alignment with Lean6Health's values. The scope of work involved building a mobile and web application from an MVP state, using wireframes and Jira tickets to create a pilotable, hostable solution. The project team consisted of 6-10 employees from Alternova, who worked on roles, emails, app store publication, UI/UX, and mobile & web development.
