Alpacked

Alpacked provided cloud support for BairesDev, a software outsourcing and staff augmentation company. The project aimed to operate the cloud across geographies with a focus on resilience, security adherence, and cost optimization. Alpacked took over the majority of the work that the Cloud Operations team did, participating in every step of the processes. The team of 6-10 employees displayed determination, ownership, and reliability, which was crucial for the project's success.

In another project, Alpacked provided managed IT services for Air IT London, an IT consulting firm. The goal was to provide a cost-effective, scalable, and trustworthy solution. Alpacked tailored their approach to match the company's needs, optimizing infrastructure for long-term growth and stability. They also assisted the AWS continuous deployment team with limited resources utilizing GitHub Actions & Cypress. They fulfilled all requirements, including end-to-end testing Cypress, infrastructure optimization, and ensuring a robust security setup.

Alpacked was also hired by Absorb Software, a cloud-based learning management system company, to assist with AWS DevOps. The goal was to improve the reliability, scalability, and security of the site. The team of 2-5 employees from Alpacked worked on configuring various AWS services, implementing automation and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes, and setting up a security framework. This included network security, access controls, vulnerability scanning, and patching.
