Aloa

Aloa was hired by an EdTech startup to help find an outsourced development team and facilitate the project. The startup, which is creating a web-based product for students with disabilities, required a high level of communication and collaboration with developers. Aloa interviewed the client to understand their project-specific needs and then used their network to find a suitable outsourced team. They also provided a communication platform and payment portal for the client to use with the developers. The project, which started in October 2021, is ongoing with a budget of around $70,000 and is expected to be completed by March 2022.

Aloa was also engaged by YOVI, a mobile app development company, to assist with UI/UX design for a mobile app development project. Aloa matched YOVI with UI/UX developers to complete an MVP development project, providing advice on the best process to build the MVP. Aloa acted as the liaison between YOVI and the developers, organizing communication and providing advice on product development. The engagement, which started in early 2021, is ongoing.

Aloa was hired by a real estate company to build an internal project management collaboration platform. The real estate company, which manages 93 commercial properties and investments with an aggregate gross asset value of approximately $20.7 billion, required a software platform that allows users to manage and collaborate on tasks related to real estate asset management. Aloa was chosen due to their geographic location, budget-friendly pricing, and positive culture fit. The scope of work included the development of a software platform for managing and collaborating on real estate asset management tasks. The size of Aloa’s team for this project was one employee.
