Highlights from Recent Projects
Allient was hired by a reinsurance company to develop a mobile application to enhance internal communications among employees. The app was designed for both Android and iOS platforms with Allient overseeing the entire design process. The project involved around 12 team members and was managed by Jonathan, the CEO of Allient. The company was chosen for this project through a selection process conducted by a committee and was found to be the best fit for the job. The first phase of the project was completed recently and the company plans to continue working with Allient in the subsequent phases.
The CEO of Ten5, Inc., a company that provides a voice-native communications platform for truck drivers and mobile workers, hired Allient to develop an Android and web-based voice application. The project also involved creating a database architecture that would simplify the addition of future features. The team from Allient, which consisted of 2-5 employees, utilized open-source tools like Rasa and Amybox for the design and build of the voice app, and the back-end was set up to run on AWS. The key deliverables included a reliable NLU/NLP engine for ease of use while driving and a custom dashboard for fleet managers and admins.
Allient was also hired by an IT consulting firm for staff augmentation in software architecture. The firm found Allient at a conference and selected them based on their geographical proximity, cultural fit, and knowledge. The Allient team, consisting of 2-5 employees, was tasked with monitoring the microservices migration project for one of the firm's clients on a monthly basis and preparing and sending a monthly report.
