Alienlab was hired by the fintech startup, Currencii.eu, to develop a comprehensive online platform for exchanging foreign currency. Their task was to manage the project from start to end, which included everything from choosing the tech stack to implementing the project. The project took the form of a web application which enables customers to access currency exchange services fully online. The application consists of two main sections, 'Calculator' and 'My Exchanges.' The former allows users to input the amount and type of currency they wish to sell or buy, while the latter tracks the user's pending and historical transactions. The project spanned from August 2018 to March 2019, during which the full team was fully involved. Having chosen Alienlab amongst a competitive selection of vendors, Currencii.eu was drawn to the team's enthusiasm and their excellent suggestions for transitioning the startup from prototype stage to a fully functioning web application. In the end, Alienlab was able to provide the best quality to price ratio, which was of utmost importance to the startup.
