AKOS

AKOS completed a software development project for Aurora Multimedia Services, a texting platform. The company required help in turning their ideas and documentation into a functional product. AKOS was involved in identifying the platform’s UI, and proceeding with the back- and frontend development. They also built all the services and APIs using Laravel and Agular. The platform is designed to be responsive and compatible across devices. The project started in January 2020 and is nearing completion, with AKOS still delivering new enhancements as required. The company has invested about $800,000 in this collaboration.

For the second project, AKOS was hired by Xavier College Preparatory to design and develop a new website. The company was expected to create a more user-friendly WordPress site, including the initial planning stages, organizing the site's content, conducting a content review, and creating the school's first online payment portal. The project was complex considering the size of the school and the need to adhere to diocesan guidelines. The website was completed in August 2020 and AKOS continues to handle its maintenance. The school invested around $75,000 for the site and pays an annual site maintenance fee.
