AKOS

AKOS completed a software development project for Aurora Multimedia Services, a software texting platform. The project aimed to develop a platform where users can log in, import their customer database, and send text messages for lead marketing and follow-up reminders. AKOS worked closely with the client to identify the platform’s UI and features and proceeded with the back- and frontend development. They also built all the services and APIs using Laravel and Agular. The platform has a responsive UI design and is compatible across devices. The project, which started in January 2020, is mostly completed and the client has spent about $800,000.

AKOS designed and developed a new, user-friendly WordPress site for Xavier College Preparatory, an all-girls Catholic college preparatory high school. The project involved initial planning stages, content organization, content review, and narrowing down the pages. AKOS also created the school's first online payment portal. The project was complex as it involved over 1,200 students, 200 employees, and over 75 clubs, and had to adhere to diocesan guidelines. The site was completed in August 2020 after a year-long engagement, costing around $75,000, and AKOS continues to handle its maintenance.

AKOS was tasked with designing and developing a web application for Dealer Backstock, a recreational vehicle (RV) retail company. The app serves as a third-party classified marketplace where dealers can list vehicles they want to trade with other dealers. Users can also shop, and the app has a search filter functionality and the ability to configure settings at the user level. AKOS used Next.js and React for app development and also provided branding, product management, business consulting, go-to-market strategy, and trademarking support. The project, which started in September 2023, is ongoing and the client has invested between $200,000 and $900,000.
