Akins IT

Akins IT was employed by a mid-size commercial general contractor to optimize MS Defender and implement InTune in order to enhance the security and management of their largely remote workforce's devices. The contractor chose Akins IT due to their cost-effective solutions and the seamless integration of their services with the company's existing Microsoft Suite. A two-pronged strategy was pursued, firstly configuring Defender in accordance with industry best practices, followed by the implementation of InTune for centralized control and policy enforcement. The project was carried out by a trio of Akins IT professionals, including a project manager, a systems engineer, and a salesperson. The company was not provided with any resources from Microsoft, the vendor in this case. The contractor now successfully manages and secures their remote workforce's devices with the solutions provided by Akins IT.
