Akins IT

Akins IT was hired by a mid-sized commercial general contractor to optimize MS Defender and implement InTune. The company, with approximately 160 employees, needed a solution to manage and apply security policies to their largely remote workforce. Akins IT was chosen due to the natural integration of the client's Microsoft suite, including Azure, and the cost-effectiveness of the solution. The project was approached in two stages: configuring Defender according to industry best practices and implementing InTune for centralized control and policy application. The Akins IT team, consisting of a project manager, a systems engineer, and sales, worked closely with the client, delivering a successful solution without requiring any resources from Microsoft.
