Highlights from Recent Projects
Akendi was hired by IntelliResponse, a software solutions company, to design the UX for a new software product. The main goal was to accelerate the product's time to market. Akendi assigned 2-5 employees to the project and created a visualization strategy, initial mockups, conducted user testing, and produced final wireframes. The visualization framework Akendi created was a major contributor to the successful adoption of the product by IntelliResponse's customers.
In a project for a telecommunications company, Akendi was tasked to enhance the User Experience (UX), increase flexibility and scalability, and establish a brand identity. The company found Akendi through an online search and chose them because of their budget-friendly pricing, good value for cost, and experienced, multi-discipline team. The project involved extensive user research, field studies, wireframe redesign, high fidelity designs, and front-end coding. Akendi also created a brand style guide and a design system tool. The telecommunications company was satisfied with the improved functionality, intuitive interface, and the consistency across their product suite.
Akendi partnered with a large fintech company to work on new product innovation projects. The fintech company lacked experience in this area and needed Akendi's expertise. Over the course of the partnership, Akendi worked on 4-5 different projects, primarily focusing on new product development and rethinking the overall UX. Akendi's team of 3-4 people worked closely with the fintech company, from strategy to design to execution, and even pushed back when necessary to keep things simple and customer-focused. The fintech company appreciated Akendi's unique niche in the intersection of design, UX, and execution and their ability to deliver premium product-focused designs. The partnership is ongoing, and the fintech company plans to bring Akendi in for other opportunities.
