Agile Routes

Agile Routes completed a project for a higher education institution where they integrated a software solution with the University of Pretoria's Identity Federation. The software solution was designed for user authentication against a dedicated OpenLDAP hosted on the AWS platform. Agile Routes successfully adjusted the software's user security design to retrieve application-specific user roles from the SAML assertion message and translated these roles into software-defined user privileges. They also restructured the software's role-based security design to introduce an overarching user administrative role, providing an alternative security model. The client found Agile Routes through referral and was satisfied with their work.

The company also worked with the University of Pretoria on a custom software development project. Agile Routes assisted the university's digital team with their website software development needs and support. The main objective of the project was to enable conference coupons functionality, with mockups and process flow diagrams provided to visualize the changes. Agile Routes was selected through a procurement process based on their experience, knowledge, and programming skills. Two developers/directors from Agile Routes worked on this project, successfully achieving the project's main objective.

For an e-commerce and web development company, Agile Routes was tasked to consolidate e-commerce platform product features, create a GUI portal for managing these features, and provide the ability to add and edit product features manually. They also provided the ability to add and update features mapping and list log files for product updates. Agile Routes successfully built an integrated management portal for all product features, with detailed log reporting of all updates. They consolidated all product features into a new standalone database and provided detailed mapping to e-commerce product variants. The client found Agile Routes through referral and was pleased with the outcome of the project.
