Affiniti AI was contracted by Happence, a wellbeing and mental health services company, to develop an interactive guide for their digital platform. The guide was intended to help users set personal goals and effectively utilize the platform's resources. Affiniti AI was chosen for the project due to their expertise in psychology, digital technology, and their enthusiasm for the project. The project was divided into four phases: a pilot study to build and test a proof of concept, building the conversation, assessments, and goal-setting tools, testing the chatbot on a live demo production web app, and finally, measuring, analyzing, and improving the system. The project was unique and uncharted territory, requiring collaboration between all members of Affiniti AI's team. The proof of concept was successfully achieved in 12 weeks, and the chatbot was tested in a 7-week usability study before being launched on the client-facing web app.
