Actual Agency was engaged by Privacera, an AI software security provider, to grow general awareness for the company and its market space, increase their share of voice (SOV) versus competitors, and build a thought leadership program around the needs for data security governance. Actual Agency, chosen for its culture fit, value for cost, and aligned company values, assigned 2-5 employees to the project. As a result of their work, Actual Agency successfully expanded Privacera's PR and communications program, helping the company reach out beyond its traditional analytics media and educate the market on data security governance.

Actual Agency was hired by a software company to launch a new company formed by a merger of two industry-leading technology companies and build brand awareness. The agency, found through an online search, was selected for its great culture fit, good value for cost, and team. Actual Agency developed a high-level messaging framework and key thought leadership storylines, created and maintained a media target list, built a news bureau program, and maintained an awards and speaking engagements program. The agency's work resulted in a high-level, one-page message framework, thought leadership storylines for the plan, and a six-month communications plan.

Bitfarms, a cryptocurrency company, engaged Actual Agency to provide financial press coverage in addition to traditional bitcoin coverage. The agency arranged interviews with the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times, among others, and secured TV coverage and delivered articles for Forbes, The Block, Yahoo Finance, and Financial Post. The project, which ran from 2022–2024, saw Bitfarms working with three teammates from Actual Agency. The engagement was successful, with Bitfarms gaining significant media coverage.
