Activator Studios

Activator Studios was hired by Catalyst Game Labs, a mid-level game publishing company, to revamp and upgrade their website experiences for both their store and company sites. They put together a marketing deck to show different options and how they could increase design and efficiency. The project involved upgrading about three custom-built sites, delivering mockups, and implementing changes after approval. The content was based on the properties already owned by the client. A complete refresh of the store was issued recently and Activator Studios continues to manage the sites. The project began at the end of 2018 and is still ongoing, with about $20,000 invested to date.

In another project, Activator Studios worked with BOOM Designs, a design consultancy, and POPPIES Toys, a toy company. Activator Studios was tasked with building brand awareness, developing websites, and creating marketing campaigns. They built the BOOM Designs website from scratch, handled both front- and backend development, performed copywriting, and applied animation to the graphics provided by the client. They also guided the client on how to manage the site. For POPPIES Toys, they created an e-commerce platform integrated with Shopify to launch a Kickstarter campaign. The engagement ran from November 2014 to November 2018, with around $10,000-$15,000 invested for BOOM Designs and a couple of grand for the toy company.
