Ackee

Ackee was hired by Konsent, an NGO focusing on women’s rights, to create a mobile application that resonates with young people and serves as a resource for educators. The application, designed to tackle issues of gender-based violence, was developed rapidly, with frequent reviews and refinements of app scenarios. The project moved quickly from initial concept to production, resulting in a polished and engaging mobile app that provides a strong foundation for discussions in relationship and sex education classes.

For the media company TV Nova, Ackee developed a unified streaming platform by integrating the functionalities of Voyo and O2 TV. The team from Ackee, consisting of 10-15 members, built modern, high-performance apps for iOS and Android, consulted on design to optimize user experience, and contributed to testing efforts to ensure stability and performance. Despite the challenges of building the platform from scratch and coordinating with multiple vendors, Ackee delivered the project on time in 1.5 years, exceeding expectations.

J&T Banka, a private and investment bank, hired Ackee to develop a secure and modern mobile banking application for high-net-worth clients. The application, which integrated daily banking functionalities with investment portfolio management, was developed by a team of 11-20 members from Ackee. The project began with discovery workshops to align on business goals and security requirements. Strict compliance with regulatory requirements and international standards ensured maximum data protection. The result is a user-friendly solution that supports both daily banking and advanced investment management.
