Accend Networks

Accend Networks worked with Notre Dame, a private all-girls high school, to strengthen their IT infrastructure. The school had a small IT team and needed assistance with larger projects. Accend Networks was tasked with improving the school's Wi-Fi coverage and upgrading their firewall system. They patrolled the campus with a device to construct a diagram of the Wi-Fi signal and made design changes to ensure coverage throughout the campus. They also upgraded the existing firewall and added a backup to the network. The backup firewall performed flawlessly when the primary one was unplugged, ensuring uninterrupted service. The school continues to work with Accend Networks, spending between $10,000 to $20,000 each year.

Adaptive Spectrum and Signal Alignment (ASSIA) contracted Accend Networks for their expertise in IT-related work, specifically networking. Accend Networks assisted with site-to-site customer VPN setups and managed the transition to Cisco Meraki for ASSIA's core switch and firewall during the relocation of their headquarters. Paula, the CEO of Accend Networks, was on-call for these projects which needed to be completed within a week. The engagement, which began in June 2015, is ongoing and has cost between $25,000 to $30,000.

ITECH Solutions, an IT services company, hired Accend Networks to support their largest client's network expansion needs. The client was onboarding many remote users following a company acquisition and needed to make multiple VPN connections to the central office. Accend Networks recommended a Cisco connection due to their experience with the network. The engagement, which began in September 2017, remains ongoing and has cost less than $10,000.
