In another project, abstractR was hired by Quant Systems, a research and expert course provider, to design and implement automatic pipelines for regular ETL processes. The Managing Director of the company stated that the project's goal was to create a design pattern for the pipelines that could be easily extended in the future. The project was divided into two steps: design proposal and integration. The abstractR team, which included a product manager, a data engineer, and a software architect, used Spark for heavy lifting and CI/CD tools for the application management. The abstractR team created an application that scrapes defined websites and summarizes the required information using a model designed by abstractR and their ML partner. The project was divided into two steps: creating suitable scrapers and extracting the right information from texts for display in a user-friendly UI.
