Abel Solutions

Abel Solutions was hired by an engineering company to create a workflow management solution. The company, which provides testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services across various industries, sought to establish consistent processes for delivering customer testing and inspection results. The project also involved integration with the company's back-office accounting system and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Abel Solutions was chosen for their high ratings, proximity, budget-fitting pricing, and company culture and values alignment. A team of 6-10 employees from Abel Solutions was assigned to the project. The project began with a detailed discovery phase where stakeholders were interviewed to document current processes used to manage and deliver client projects. This was followed by an agile software development process to build the application using Microsoft Power Apps. The primary objective was to streamline the process from the time of quote to the time of invoicing and capture all stages during that process in a SQL database. The key deliverables included a fully tested application with document storage and the ability to report on key metrics related to the lifecycle of a customer project.
