95Visual was contracted by the University of California, Santa Barbara's Technology Management Program for a website redesign. The program was launching new graduate degree programs and wanted to update their website to align with this advancement. The 5-person team led by the CEO developed and launched the new website, making it more user-friendly and improving the backend functionality. They also provided additional support post-launch and offered insights into digital marketing and its impact on web traffic and searchability.
The academic department of the University of California, Santa Barbara's College of Engineering engaged 95Visual to address the numerous complaints about their website’s lack of functionality. The previous rigid design of the website hindered changes. 95Visual was tasked with creating a Drupal website that was mobile-friendly and easy to customize. Despite the previous work having the same issues, 95Visual built the website from scratch without altering the quote. They created several templates, added feeds for general department news, and stories specific to fields. They also set up analytic reports on Google AdWords and included lightbox popups for marketing purposes. The project cost approximately $40,000 and was completed by March 2017 with continued support as needed.
