Perfomante video ads UAB, a company that turns screen recordings into polished promo videos and GIFs, hired 5why.us for a marketing strategy and business consulting project. The company sought to understand customer goals, find product/market fit, and conduct Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) customer research for their new product, Screen Story. The team from 5why.us, consisting of 2-5 employees, engaged in a series of calls with the Perfomante team to understand the product, team, and processes. They then created a research design, conducted over 30 interviews with both Perfomante's clients and competitors' users, and made necessary adjustments to the design. The final deliverables included a detailed plan, market strategy, marketing assets, and personas. The results of this project were highly satisfactory for Perfomante, as evidenced by the growth in their Monthly Active Users (MAU) and Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).
