Highlights from Recent Projects
3Step collaborated with a hiking trail company to design and develop mobile applications for iOS and Android, as well as a webpage. The project, 'Treasures of Highlanders', was aimed at promoting the Bieszczady region and its lesser-known areas in Poland. The app contained various features including photos, videos, texts, and other information about highland heritage, along with 50 unmarked hiking and cycling routes. The team at 3Step, which consisted of iOS, Android and backend developers, a project manager, QA specialist, and an in-house UI expert, successfully delivered the project.
In another project, 3Step worked with a Polish women's rights nonprofit organization, Arteria Association. They developed an audio guide app that tells the story of a shipyard using the voices of female workers. The app, which was developed for both Android and iOS, included features such as geolocation. 3Step was responsible for the UI/UX design and made the app accessible to impaired people by adjusting it to be used with Google TalkBack on Android. The project was successful, with the app launching on International Women's Day in 2016.
3Step partnered with Mapa Pasji Foundation to develop a mobile app and web platform for a historical treasure hunting game called 'Treasures of Mountain People'. The platforms allowed users to add different types of content and participate in treasure hunts, with a GPS mechanism tracking their location. The app was developed for both Android and iOS platforms. The project was successful, with the app and website being easy to use and allowing for the easy upload of new materials and creation of new user accounts.
