The company 27 Nerds was hired by a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) portal, cover.gg, to develop a professional CS:GO scene portal from scratch. The product owner of cover.gg selected 27 Nerds based on a personal recommendation. The project involved designing and developing the product based on the agile methodology, utilizing numerous technologies including Kubernetes, Microservices, and others. A team of 14 people, including a software architect, project manager, product manager, lead frontend developer, senior QA, two product designers, and other backend and frontend developers, worked on the project.

27 Nerds was also engaged by Maincast, one of the largest esports companies in Europe, to update their legacy overlay system to generate a new technology stack for visual experience and new options for displaying in-game data. The company was selected due to its esports expertise and familiarity with Ruby technology. The project began with a discovery workshop where the 27 Nerds team spent time understanding the company's needs. The main goal was to upgrade their Ruby-made database solution and reach a new level of technology for visual solutions. The project involved communication with three people from 27 Nerds: the CTO, a Developer, and a Project Manager.
