The main challenge was to find quality engineers who were not as expensive as those in their headquarters, but who could still work full-time and become deeply integrated within the company. 11Sigma provided about five engineers who helped with backend work, API, and some frontend projects. The collaboration started in February 2019 and has cost over $200,000. The 11Sigma engineers work on teams with Stoplight developers, each team having one 11Sigma member. The partnership was facilitated through a referral from a company in the TechStars program in Austin.
